What should I wear to the Dunham Apple Festival?We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for walking in an orchard. As the festival takes place outdoors, it’s a good idea to bring a jacket or raincoat in case of unpredictable weather.

What is your Booking Policy?All tickets must be booked online in advance. Once booked, tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another date if available. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your booking. Changes to bookings within 24 hours of the event time will not be changed. The Dunham Apple Festival reserves the right to cancel the event in the case of poor weather to ensure visitors safety. Tickets are per person. Children under 2 years do not require a ticket. Well behaved dogs must be kept on leads and cleared up after. No smoking is allowed.

Is the festival accessible?We strive to make the Dunham Apple Festival accessible to all visitors. However, Boundary Farm is a working farm and some areas of the orchard may have uneven ground. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us ahead of your visit and we will try as hard as we can to accommodate you.

Are there restroom facilities on-site?Yes, we have restroom facilities available for visitors. These are located near the Apple Barn and are clearly signposted.

Can I book a group visit?Yes, we offer group bookings for schools, clubs, and other organisations. Please contact us directly for group visits larger than 30. For groups less than 30, please purchase tickets through the ticketing page.

Is there parking available?Yes, parking is available but limited at Boundary Farm. There is also alternative parking at the Henshall Lane Car Park.

Why is there no Pumpkin Patch this year?Unfortunately, due to poor weather conditions from the 2024 season, our pumpkin crop did not meet the standards needed to host the Pumpkin Patch. While we share in the disappointment of not being able to offer this beloved tradition, we’re excited to introduce the Dunham Apple Festival as a new autumn experience for our visitors.

What is included in the ticket price?Your ticket grants you access to all the festival’s activities, including apple picking, the pressing and tasting session, the Apple Character Trail, wagon train rides, and access to our bouncy pad. Additional charges apply for food, drinks, and any items purchased from The Apple Barn.

Can I bring my dog?YES! Dogs are welcome at the Dunham Apple Festival, but they must be kept on a leash at all times. Please ensure you clean up after your pet and be mindful of other visitors. Be sure to tag us in the photos of your four legged friend!

What tickets are available?Tickets are sold per person and can be purchased online through our website. Book in advance as spaces are limited.

What refreshments are available at the Dunham Apple Festival?A variety of refreshments will be available at The Apple Barn, including our freshly pressed apple juice, locally crafted cider, and other treats. For those craving something savoury, Little Red Pizza Co. will be serving up delicious wood-fired pizzas.

Where is The Dunham Apple Festival?The festival takes place at Boundary Farm, Dunham Massey, South Manchester, in our beautiful 30-acre orchard. Detailed directions and parking information can be found on our website.

Do I need to bring any tools to the Dunham Apple Festival?No tools are necessary for your visit. Our staff will provide everything you need for apple picking and other activities.

Are any pumpkin-related activities available at the Dunham Apple Festival?While we won’t have pumpkin picking this year, many of the fun activities from the Dunham Pumpkin Patch, like the bouncy pad, have been incorporated into the Dunham Apple Festival. We’ve also introduced new experiences centred around our apple orchard, including apple picking and pressing sessions.

What happens if it rains?The Dunham Apple Festival is an outdoor event, so please come prepared for the weather. The festival will go ahead rain or shine, but in the case of extreme weather, certain activities may be adjusted for safety.

What's New for Season Two?This season we’ve added: Smaller apple picking sessions (25 people per group) for a more personalised experience Dedicated baskets for each group during picking Apple Character Trail – with fun photo boards and interactive activity stations Apple Colouring Tent – a calm creative space for younger guests Adult-Only Cider Sessions – featuring a special festival blend crafted from last year’s hand-pressed juice
